A. General Information and Professional Scope

Health and Nutrition Coaching

Health and nutrition coaching is a complementary approach that supports health and wellbeing through personalised, holistic guidance. Arabella Porter works with clients to explore lifestyle, nutrition, habits, and health goals in order to identify patterns and areas for positive change. The approach is personalised, as each individual is considered unique, with bespoke nutrition and lifestyle programmes recommended rather than a one-size-fits-all approach

Recommendations are tailored to the individual and may include lifestyle guidance, nutritional education and support, health coaching strategies, and goal-focused accountability, appropriate to Arabella Porter's training and scope of practice as a certified health and nutrition coach.

Coaching sessions include an initial in-depth consultation, creation of a personalised programme, and ongoing follow-up on progress and goals. The flagship programme, Thrive, is a 3-month personalised health and nutrition coaching programme delivered online and via home visits.

D. Client Responsibilities:

The client understands and agrees to the following:

  1. Medical Disclosure: I will inform Arabella Porter of all medical conditions I have been diagnosed with, symptoms I am experiencing, and medications I am taking or have taken in the past. I must inform her of any new medical conditions, symptoms, or medications should they arise. Providing full and accurate details is important, as this may affect the coaching programme recommended.

  2. Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: I will inform Arabella Porter immediately if I am pregnant or breastfeeding, or if I plan to become pregnant or begin breastfeeding.

  3. Communication with Medical Professionals: I am responsible for contacting my GP about any health concerns. I am directed to consult my doctor if I have not previously done so regarding any health condition.

  4. Prescribed Treatments: I will not alter or discontinue treatments prescribed by a licensed health professional without consulting the individual who prescribed the treatment.

  5. Understanding and Compliance:

    • I will inform Arabella Porter if I do not understand any part of my programme recommendations or if I am uncomfortable with any aspect of my coaching.

    • The suitability of coaching advice depends on the accuracy of the information I provide during consultations and within my intake questionnaire. Responsibility cannot be accepted where important information is withheld or in cases of non-compliance.

    • I understand that recommendations are personal to me and may not be appropriate for others.

  6. Product Purchase: I am free to purchase any products suggested as part of my programme from a supplier of my choosing. I am under no obligation to purchase products from Arabella Porter Health directly.
